Our aim is to be somewhere you can come to relax and get the best haircut, we can possibly give. Here at Press, we focus on haircuts that are tailored to suit you - from your head shape to your lifestyle (suitability is key). Our main goal is to provide a seamless experience so we ensure plenty of time for each appointment, so we can really focus on you.
‘Simple done well’ is our motto - we want everyone walking out feeling fresh and truly taken care of. We aim to create a comfortable space where everybody feels welcome. An extension of your living room where you can come and chat (or not), have a drink and get a good trim. Walking out feeling fresh.

MY
STORY
I’m all about “simple done well” - it’s basically what I live by, when it comes to cutting hair!
I want to give the best possible version of whatever haircut you want.
Originally trained at Vidal Sassoon - I started off as an apprentice and received, what some may consider, the best haircutting training going. I qualified there and worked my way up through the levels of “stylist”, whilst also teaching students from all over the world in The Sassoon Academy.
After this I went travelling round the world in Ibiza, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South/Central America. I saw the world and worked in a lot of these places - some of the best times of my life!
Later I came back to the U.K. and worked in some of London’s top barbershops, including Soho House group Barbershops - working and cutting their exclusive clients hair. I also worked for Joe & co in Soho, widely known as London’s best barbershop (just give it a Google).
Recently I worked at the London school of barbering, teaching students, new to the industry, the very first steps into becoming a barber. It was very rewarding and I enjoy watching anyone I have taught, at any level, grow and develop in their barbering journey.
I've honed my skills over the years, had my own barbers shop for over 5 years and can work with pretty much all hair types, including specialising in men's curly hair.
LOUIS.
Originally from North London, Louis brings over six years of experience behind the chair, having spent much of his career at Thy Barber before joint press. He also spent time at haircuts for homeless, we love that!
With a background that’s anything but ordinary, amongst other jobs Louis has worked as a tattoo artist, model and continues to work as a barber in TV and film, contributing to some of the UK’s biggest productions. His creative eye and attention to detail shine through in every haircut, with a particular eye for classic looks.
Louis loves a Classic look whether it be clothing or hair he has an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of era based styling if he’s not at work, you’ll usually find Louis hunting for vintage clothing, adding another piece to his ever-growing wardrobe.
A keen reader and a bit of wordsmith himself, he’s even published a book of his own. He’s also a Arsenal supporter, I know what you’re thinking but he’s one of the good ones he’s got a season ticket, supported them through the so called “bad time”. So if you’re after football chat while you’re in the chair, he’s got you covered.
Whether you’re after a subtle tidy-up or a complete restyle, Louis is an absolute scissor wizard (and clipper) and he will make sure you leaves looking you’re best, feeling confident and enjoying the experience from start to finish
